On behalf of the Lourdes community, I am delighted to begin offering you the University President’s blog!

As a higher education leader and academic, I look forward to sharing the latest Lourdes news and my commentary on topics that affect our university and the greater community. As a Catholic, liberal arts institution, Lourdes prepares students to make meaning of the world by evaluating information, collaborating with others, developing problem solving skills and understanding the value of each individual.  Our graduates are prepared to create productive workplaces and improve society.

I am humbled to serve the Lourdes community and to carry on the mission of our founding body, the Sisters of St. Francis.

In the coming weeks and months, look for my reflections on Homecoming, a Franciscan leadership pilgrimage, and much more.
