As an educator, prevention specialist and a drug counselor, I have had the opportunity to work throughout the United States. With my friend Dr. Ken Newbury, we started a drug prevention team called America’s Pride, twice named the top drug prevention team in the United States. We did work with the Navajos in New Mexico and the Cree Indians in Canada. We trained students from all the Canadian Provinces and kids from England.

In 2007 I started a new group called the P.E.A.C.E. Project with 12 students from Sylvania Schools. Today we have over 1000 kids that share a strong message of Respect, Integrity, Excellence, and being Drug Free. Through workshops and mentoring the members of the P.E.A.C.E. Project touch lives every day. I have had the pleasure of lecturing in the Criminal Justice department at Lourdes and have met amazing faculty, staff, and students. The faculty inspires and students I worked with were so dedicated!

Lourdes provides a great atmosphere for learning and the campus is a beautiful place to be.
