Franciscan Pilgrimage

The Franciscan Pilgrimage brings together students of various faith traditions from Franciscan Institutions across the United States to reflect on and learn from the vision and values of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. The Pilgrimage includes time for reflection, study, conversation, leisure, relaxation and visits to sacred Franciscan places in Assisi and Rome.

The storm has passed and the snow is cleared. This was supposed to be an uneventful trip – until the flight from Detroit to New York was delayed and we realized that we would miss the connection from NY to Rome.

6:00 pm
Another flight leaves four hours later, but we’re on standby!

8:30 pm – There are 3 seats on the flight! Italy here we come! :)

9:15 pm

Ok this is really happening now going through security then boarding for Italy! What a trip this has been so far. This has been a crazy emotional day but it was worth it.

ROME, here we come! Nothing can stop us now :)
